Just got back from dinner and beer at RRBC before a movie. I had the Old Detroit IPA which I thought was hoppy and good but pretty run of the mill as IPA's go, nothing really stood out about it for me or my husband. He had the Reindeer Red which I thought was much better (and switched to half way through dinner). The red was smooth and delicious. No sharp edges but tasty all the same.
The food is always good and a few steps above normal bar food. I had the cashew encrusted tilapia and my husband had the enchiritos and both were delightful and yummy. For my money I could always use a little more spice though.
I've always liked the atmosphere, the big open space of the bar yet cozy feel at the same time. The service while serviceable, was and always is a little slow. Leave extra time if you are going to a movie.
